Assuming you have chosen the BNB Smart Chain, here are the instructions to add USDC to your MetaMask account:

1. Open your web browser and visit the BSC Scan USDC page. You can find the link here: BscScan USDC page.

2. On the BscScan USDC page, locate the "Contract Address" for USDC. This address uniquely identifies the USDC token on the network. The USDC Contract Address from BscScan is: 0x8AC76a51cc950d9822D68b83fE1Ad97B32Cd580d

3. Open your MetaMask wallet extension in your browser and ensure you are connected to the BNB Chain network. If you haven't added the BNB Chain network to your MetaMask yet, you can find instructions on how to do so here(insert a link to our article “How to add BNB Chain to your Metamask wallet”)
   

4. Once on the BNB Smart Chain network in MetaMask, click the "Import Tokens" button.

5. After clicking the "Import Tokens" tab, you can see the "Custom Token" page and will need to fill it out.

6. Paste the USDC contract address you obtained from the BscScan USDC page into the "Token Contract Address" field. MetaMask should automatically fill in the token symbol and decimal places for USDC. Verify that the token symbol is displayed as "USDC" and the decimals are set correctly.

7. On the next screen, you will see a summary of the USDC token details. Click the "Add Custom Token" button to add USDC to your MetaMask wallet on the BNB Smart Chain network.

8. You will then be asked if you would like to import the token. Click “Import Token”

9. After a few seconds, you should see the USDC balance reflected in your MetaMask wallet. You can now use USDC on the BNB Smart Chain network for transactions and interactions with decentralised applications (dApps).

By following these steps, you will have successfully added USDC to your MetaMask wallet on the BNB Smart Chain network. Congratulations!
